Jessica Keahey spent 12 years as a professional civil engineer, designing and managing environmental public works projects, before her penchant for science and love of food led her to the fascinating and tasty world of cheese. Since then, she’s studied extensively with cheese experts from around the globe, making and mongering, before founding Sweet Freedom Cheese — Arkansas’ only cut-to-order cheese shop, located at the vibrant 8th Street Market in Bentonville. Jessica has earned the distinction of being named a Certified Cheese Professional by the American Cheese Society and was recently profiled in Women Make Arkansas: Conversations with 50 and Culture Magazine.
